What is galvanising

Galvanising is the process of fusing 2 metals together, the chassis is cleaned in ACID and then submerged in a flux. The chassis is then dipped in molten zinc at 450 C. Zinc inpregnates the steel and provides the protection. The layer of zinc on the surface then becomes a sacrificial anode and degrades in preference to the steel.
